Cancelling of exams has created a hustle-bustle among students, especially for the 12th standard students. Due to the non-avoidable circumstances of COVID 19, the centre on Thursday (25th June 2020) announced that remaining exams will not be conducted. But, there are certain things you should understand. Here are some FAQS.

CBSE: Can I Write The Papers? How Will  Be The Marking Done?

The CBSE students will have an option to appear in the examination. But if they don’t wish to appear then their performance in the last examinations will be considered to provide them marks. This is only applicable if the situation becomes better. But, this option is only given to 12th standard and not for Class 10 students. The marks for 10th will only be calculated based on the performance of the previous papers. The results will be declared by 15th July.

Status of ICSE Pending Papers

The ICSE board has decided to cancel the exams & unlike CBSE would not give an option to class 12 students to write the exams later. Earlier the ICSE board offered the students either to write the exams or to opt for marking based on the pre-board or internal assessment.
